1st-5th Grade Boys Basketball Camp Instructor: Coach Yttredahl Location: Gym Dates offered: June 4-7 Time: 9 am -12pm Entering Grades:1-5 Class size: No minimum or maximum Fee: $125 Basketball Camp is designed to teach fundamental skills and rules of the game to young players. This camp will include basic skill stations, 5 on 5 competitions, varied individual instruction, games and more. Campers will also get the opportunity to work with current Lakehill coaching staff and players.

Boys Lacrosse Camp Instructor: Mr. and Mrs. Thomson Location: Lakehill Preparatory School Campus Practice Field Dates offered: June 9-13 Time: 9am-12pm Entering Grades 6-8 Class size: minimum 8 Fee: $175 Come work on your stick skills! Learn about the exciting game of boy’s lacrosse from the Highland Park Boys DII Varsity Lacrosse Coach! He is a four-year Division I college starter from Duke University and former All-American. Students will participate in drills and game situations to improve their skills and understanding of the game. Students will need to bring water bottles, a lacrosse stick and equipment (*Equipment can be loaned/rented by request. Please contact Mrs. Thomson for details). We’ll work on speed and endurance as well as flexibility and strength. You’ll set personal goals, record your running, learn about food and fitness, and play running games with friends. It will include basic skill stations, team competitions, individual position instruction, games and more. Campers will also get the opportunity to work with current Lakehill coaching staff and upperclassmen. Gatorade and water will be provided. In addition, each camper will receive a camp t-shirt, camp certificate and the opportunity to win other camp awards! Incoming Freshmen Volleyball Camp Instructor: CoachCayme Location: Gym Dates offered: June 24-27 Time: 1-4pm Entering Grade:9 Class size: No minimum or maximum Fee: $125 These camps will help incoming freshmen become aquainted with the more complex high school basketball & volleyball programs. Yoga Camp Instructor: Mrs. Hopper Location: Auditorium Dates offered: Session I June 23-27 Session II July 21-25 Time: 8am – 9am Entering Grade:K-6 Class size: 10min, max 16 Fee: $70 Come and enjoy the fun of yoga! Students will increase physical, mental and emotional balance, strength, and flexibility while also learning how to manage stress and relax through the ancient art of yoga. Breathing techniques, self-soothing meditation strategies and powerful asanas will be presented in a non-competitive environment. Students will make a lavender eye pillow for use in class and at home. Encourage a calm mind and strong body in your child through yoga. Bring a mat or towel. Water is provided. |
