Application Process

Kindergarten – Grade 4

We are accepting applications in select grades. Please contact Stacey Peacock in the Office of Admission at or 214.826.2931 to find out more.

Step One – Application Deadline and Fees

Complete an Online Application for your child here.

A non-refundable Application Fee of $100 must be submitted with the completed Application for Admission.

Step Two – Submit Records Release Form to Current School

Please submit the Records Release Form to your child’s current school, and the school will forward your child’s records to the Office of Admission. The records are due January 25, 2019.

Step Three – Submit Teacher Evaluation Form to Current Teacher

Please submit the Teacher Evaluation Form to your child’s current classroom teacher to be returned to the Lakehill Office of Admission.

Step Four – Student Questionnaire – Grades 3 and 4

Download the Student Questionnaire here. Students are asked to answer several questions about themselves and their involvement at their current school and in their community. You may scan and email the form back to or place it in the mail.

Step Five – Attend a Student Visit

Once all application materials have been submitted, students entering Grades 2 through 4 are invited to attend an optional classroom visit as part of the admission evaluation process. Parents will be contacted by the Office of Admission to schedule a visit.

Step Six – Admission Testing

Contact the Office of Admission to schedule Admission Testing.

As an alternative, students in Grades 2-4 may take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) at a designated site and have their results forwarded to Lakehill. Please indicate your choice on the Admission Test Registration Form. The Lakehill Code is 441761 when registering for the ISEE Admission Exam.

Step Seven – Admission Decisions

Decision letters will be mailed and an email will be sent on March 8, 2019.

Contracts for new students are due March 22, 2019. A non-refundable $1,000 tuition deposit and a non-refundable $500 new student fee are due with the contract.
