Application Process
Grades 5 - 12
Step One - Application Deadline and Fees
Complete an Application for your student. Applications can be downloaded from the website or obtained by contacting the Office of Admission.
The deadline for the 2011-2012 school year is January 7, 2011.
A non-refundable Application Fee of $150 must be submitted with the completed Application for Admission.

Step Two - Submit Records Release Form to current school
The Records Release Form can be downloaded from the website or obtained by contacting the Office of Admission.
Please submit the Records Release Form to your child’s current school, and the school will forward your child’s records to the Office of Admission.

Step Three – Submit Teacher Evaluation Forms to current teachers
The Teacher Evaluation Forms can be downloaded from the website or obtained by contacting the Office of Admission.
Please submit the appropriate form to your child’s current English and Math teachers to be completed and returned directly to the Lakehill Office of Admission.

Step Four – Entrance Testing and Admission Test Registration Form
The Admission Test Registration Form can be downloaded from the website or obtained by contacting the Office of Admission.
Testing for Grades 5 through 12 for the 2010-2011 school year will be held at Lakehill Preparatory School on January 29, 2010 at 8:00 a.m.
As an alternative, students may take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) at a designated site and have their results forwarded to Lakehill. Please indicate your choice on the Admission Test Registration Form.
Complete the Admission Test Registration Form and submit it along with the Application and the $150 Application Fee.

Step Five – Student Questionnaire
The Student Questionnaire can be downloaded from the website or obtained by contacting the Office of Admission.

Students are asked to answer several questions about themselves and their involvement at their current school and in their community.
Step Six – Student Essay
The Student Essay Form can be downloaded from the website or obtained by contacting the Office of Admission.

Step Seven – Schedule a Student Visit
Once all application materials have been submitted, students are invited to schedule an optional classroom visit as part of the admission evaluation process. To schedule a classroom visit, please contact the Office of Admission.
Step Eight – Admission Decisions
Decision letters will be mailed March 11, 2011.
Contracts for new students are due March 25, 2010. A non-refundable $1,000 tuition deposit and a non-refundable $500 new student fee are due with the contract. |
