Track – Varsity
Lakehill Warrior Track and Field focuses on building onto the individual athlete’s current level of physical conditioning while placing importance on running form and strength. Commitment to the training regimen, responsibility, accountability, and a strong work ethic are core tenets of the program. The Warriors compete in TAPPS 3A and run in meets against all divisions across the state. The team qualified a school record number of runners for the State Track Meet in the 2018 season. In the past two years, Lakehill runners have taken home individual district and regional medals in the 4x100m relay, 4x200m relay, 100m, 200m, 400m, shotput, and discus. At the state level, runners have won the state championship in the 200m, 1600m, 3200m, and long jump while also medaling in the 100m and 400m.
