Summer at Lakehill 2026
We are thrilled to announce Dan Woodward as the Director of Summer Programs at Lakehill!
Dan has been a valued member of the Lakehill community for the past three years, currently serving as a Learning Specialist. He has also been a dedicated camp instructor for the past two summers, bringing energy, creativity, and a passion for learning to every program. With over 10 years of experience working in schools and an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from Baylor University, Dan brings both expertise and heart to his new role.
At Lakehill, Dan wears many hats—7th-grade advisor and class sponsor, middle school tennis coach, and varsity boys soccer coach. Outside of school and camp, he enjoys playing soccer, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family—Katie, their two-year-old son Carter, their dog Happy, and a baby boy arriving this December!
Dan is excited to expand upon the amazing programs and traditions of Lakehill Summer Camps. “I love Lakehill camps because of the wide variety of programs we offer, the tight-knit community we build, and the positivity our teachers bring,” he shares. “Summer camp is a safe, fun environment where campers can try new things, take risks, build confidence, and explore their passions. I look forward to bringing high energy and creativity to every program this summer.”
Whether your camper is an experienced participant or trying something new for the first time, Lakehill Summer Camps offers opportunities for all students to explore, learn, and grow.
